New Islamorada Village Licensing Laws & Fire Code Regulations
New licensing laws will be in affect for all rental properties in Islamorada in the very near future and impacts all rentals from now going forward.
The regulations pertaining to 'The Last Resort' stipulates that no more than 8 people may occupy this property. An adult for the purposes of this law is classified as any person age 6 years or older.
An additional 4 children (one per room) may occupy the property provided each child is not more than 5 years old. (NO SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED)
VIOLATION OF THE MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY RULE WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EVICTION FROM THE PROPERTY WITH NO REFUND OF RENT OR SECURITY DEPOSIT.
FURTHER LEGAL ACTION FOR FULL FINANCIAL RESTITUTION WILL BE TAKEN AGAINST ANY RENTER SHOULD NON-COMPLIANCE OF THIS LAW RESULT IN A CODE VIOLATION FOR THE PROPERTY.
Payment of your booking fee, your signature on the Letting Agreement OR taking possession of the property after receipt of the Agreement is evidence of your acceptance and your intent to comply with the maximum occupancy stipulations, including the aforementioned restitution measures should you fail to comply with this law.
